Cloud Computing Guide and Checklist for Marketers

Cloud Computing is revolutionising computing. It offers on-demand services for IT provision, often based on virtualisation and distributed computing technologies. Cloud Computing is information technology infrastructure that hosts data or applications in the ‘Cloud’.

There are significant benefits to moving to Cloud solutions including cost effectiveness, added security, access to applications which are increasingly only available in the Cloud.

For many small and medium sized enterprises the right Cloud Computing service can be significantly more secure and more cost effective than environments that can be created using the resources of a single enterprise.

There are, however, also legal and regulatory, corporate reputation, intellectual property, risk and data security considerations associated with moving to the Cloud.

To assist ADMA marketers navigate their way through this maze ADMA has compiled this Guide and a Cloud Computing Checklist (Section 5) that provides a structure against which organisations can assess Cloud Computing services.
